In 1984 Dr. Robert Rod, MS & PhD in Engineering & Environmental Engineering, devoted himself to developing a safe insecticide using a an oil extracted from orange peels, known as d’limonene. It soon became apparent through testing that this natural substance, which would be harmless to man, would be significant in the domestic insect battle.

The country was undergoing a dramatic culture change from the “anything goes” attitude to a well-defined emergence of health conscious people demanding a better quality of living standard and safe products for their children and families.

Dr. Rod past away in December of 2011 but his legacy will continue thanks to his wife, Shirley, daughter, Pat, son, Dean and with the same people, Sungro Products, who helped produce Bugs R Done for the past 28 years.
